The USA Platform
One platform. Many ways to participate.
Discover, claim, manage, promote and participate across the American implementation of One Local Internet.
Platform = Participate.
The capabilities the system provides.
OS = Operate.
The rules, workflows and decisions that govern them.
TheUSAOS.com
TheLocalPlatform.com
Defines the shared capability model.
The capability model
TheUSAPlatform.com
Shows what that model lets people do across the United States.
The American implementation
The record is the foundation.
Every capability here acts on one authoritative Business Record. Nothing on this site creates a second record, a second geography, a second publication system or a second way to participate.
What can you do?
Each figure is read from the running system when this page renders, and appears only beside the capability it demonstrates. None of it is a measure of network size — TheUSAStack.com owns the national deployment measurements.
Discover
Browse geography, search, open an authoritative record and read what has been published. No account is required for any of it.
- Participation begins before authentication.
Claim
Ask to take responsibility for an existing eligible Business Record. The request is decided by someone other than the person making it.
- Claim request ≠ approved claim
- Claimed ≠ verified
- Claimed ≠ published
- Claimed ≠ promoted
Manage
Once access is approved, propose legitimate changes to the record. Proposing is not the same as changing.
- Submit ≠ Apply
- View · Request · Applied · Rejected are four different things.
Promote
Request a governed promotional placement on something already published. The request is decided independently, and declines are part of the record.
- Request ≠ Approval
- Publication ≠ Promotion
Credits
Buy and spend Promotion Credits inside the existing governed promotion architecture. Credit never decides a request.
- Credit ≠ Approval
Refer
Refer another business through the existing governed referral programme. The reward is earned at qualification, not at introduction.
- A click earns nothing.
Reviews are a real capability, and approved reviews appear publicly on the record they concern. Every review in the system today belongs to demonstration content, which never appears in public counts, so this page claims no public reviews.
Participate without an account
Participation begins before authentication.
A request does not guarantee a result.
The Platform provides legitimate ways to participate. The OS governs what happens to that participation.
Participant
A visitor, a business, or someone authorized to review.
Capability
Something the Platform genuinely allows that participant to do.
Governed workflow
Where a decision is required, someone else makes it.
Result
Approved, declined or still pending — all three are real outcomes.
Claim
Platform: Submit the claim.
OS: Review and decide it.
Change
Platform: Request the change.
OS: Govern whether it is applied.
Promotion
Platform: Request promotion.
OS: Record the decision and operate activation, decline and expiry.
Referral
Platform: Make the referral.
OS: Determine whether the qualification requirements are met.
A click earns nothing.
Nothing about another business's claim, evidence, reviewers or private state is shown here. The public story is simply that a referral must qualify before a reward is earned.
Referral made
A business introduces another business.
Qualification requirements
The referred business has to genuinely get there.
Qualified
The requirements are met and recorded.
Reward earned
Only then is credit added.
Who participates
Administration is not participation. Reviewer and administrator capabilities exist because decisions must be made by someone other than the requester — they are never presented here as something a visitor can sign up for.
Visitor
Can discover, browse, search and read public information. No account required.
Business or organization participant
Can claim an existing record and, once access is approved, request changes and take part in promotion, credits and referrals.
Authorized reviewer
Can perform specific governed decisions where permissions allow. This is not a general Platform feature and is not offered here.
Follow a participant
One real business in the running system. Every step below is read from the system, and nothing is added to complete the sequence.
The USA Platform does not currently provide a general self-service publishing programme for outside writers.
A business can publish from its own claimed record, and what it publishes is reviewed before it appears. That is a capability of owning a record, not an open editorial programme. There is no writer portal, no submit-an-article route for the public, and nothing here should be read as one.
One platform. Many experiences.
The same capability can legitimately appear in several places. That does not make them separate platforms — Platform means capabilities, Surfaces means experiences.
Platform participates. Grid distributes.
The Platform is the set of capabilities a participant can use. The Grid is the network those results are distributed across. This site is not a map of destinations — TheLocalGrid.com and LocalGridNetwork.com already are.

What this site is not
- Not a second platform. The capabilities shown here are the ones The Local Platform already defines.
- Not a developer platform. There is no public write access and no interface to build against.
- Not an AI system and not an automation product. Nothing here participates on your behalf.
- Not a graph and not a marketplace. Owning a name is not a capability.
- Not a publishing programme for outside writers.
- Not a map of destinations, and not a measure of national coverage.
